I know – another post on empties! – but I honestly had the last collection of items waiting for the longest time in that basket. And for many items, I had several going at the same time. So let’s jump in.
I’ve got Target’s Up and Up strengthening nail polish remover. I recently purchased the pink-capped one and the formula’s scent was so strong, it wouldn’t go away, nor would it wash off easily. So I have to stick with the purple cap. Biore’s Blemish Fighting Ice Cleanser is one I keep in the shower; it’s made several appearances before. I did not like L’oreal’s Power Moisture Hydrating Conditioner for normal to dry hair. This took forever to wash out of my hair, making my shower time much too long, thus wasting water. I was so happy to finally be rid of it. Another can of Gilette’s Olay Sensitive shave cream and pack of Costco’s Delon cotton pads used.
I’ve finally finished this small tube of Ralph Lauren’s Romance Sensuous Body Moisturizer, since I’ve literally had this since high school. I’m not interested in perfumed lotions, because they usually don’t moisturize well – I find them to be very watery and thin, but it came in a gift set long ago. Clinique’s mild facial soap is another repeated item. I’ve found an affordable eye makeup remover that removes waterproof mascara in Boot Botanics Soothing Eye Makeup Remover. I love this stuff. The last of my Crabtree and Evelyn hand cream stash went with Rosewater and Summer Hill hand therapy. Rosewater is my favorite of their rose scents – just a hint of the flower makes it ideal for those with sensitivity to strong smells.
Benefit’s Bad Gal Lash was overdue for tossing – I don’t even remember when I purchased it. It’s not waterproof, but I love the big brush application. Maybe one day, I’ll try the waterproof version. Chapstick’s Moisturizer lip balm is a drugstore classic, but I’ve found so many better lip products that do a way better job, so I’m using these up and moving on. Yes to Carrots Super Rich Body Butter is so soothing and creamy for the hands and the small size makes it ideal for traveling. I love using Biore nose pore strips every other week when I do my full out facial. A new item I’ve finished is Lush’s Volcano Foot Mask, which I got in a pedicure kit. It’s thick clay you can cover your feet in and leave on for a few minutes before scrubbing off. I wasn’t too impressed with it, but it was fun to try.
Stay tuned for an all-natural empties!
